Lindsey Broughton is coming to Stouffville Country Ribfest Saturday

Lindsey Broughton is coming to Stouffville Country Ribfest Saturday,  August 9th!! Do not miss this new rising star visiting us in Memorial Park Saturday night

Last year, young country songstress Lindsay Broughton was named CMAO Rising Star Award recipient, based on the strength of her eponymous 2012 debut, and she is quickly validating that award.

In fact, at this week’s CMAO Awards she was up for the Top Female Vocalist honour, while she was also named CMT Fresh Face Artist in May. The reasons why are audible in her strong new single, “Take Me There”. It’s a catchy cut, and the rock edge to the production won’t hurt its chances. Neither will the presence of respected industry veteran Brian Hetherman in her corner. She terms her style “fun modern-country with a twist of pop fused /funky rock”, and a new album, also called Take Me There, is coming soon.

She has plenty of summer gigs in Ontario. Go to her website for dates.
