The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville believes that everyone deserves to have recreation, culture and leisure experiences that support healthy development both personal and at the community level. A community project has been developed to allow for the opportunity to participate without barriers.
Working together with Canadian Tire Jumpstart, the Region of York, Reach for the Rainbow, WS Museum, 19 On the Park and York Support Services Network, this project is committed in its initial stages to:
- Extending access to participation to ALL Whitchurch-Stouffville residents facing financial and participation barriers
- Promoting local opportunities for Culture and Physical Activity
- Promoting the benefits of Culture and Physical Activity as a foundation for a healthy community
We will continue to build partnerships at the local level to remove barriers and create opportunities for everyone to JOIN IN!
